Graduate writing tutors come from Ph.D. programs from across the University of Delaware. They have strong writing skills at the graduate level and have completed a series of seminars about supporting graduate students’ writing. When you make an appointment, you may search for a graduate writing tutor with experience in a field similar to your own.

We typically hire graduate writing tutors during the summer; they participate in a series of seminars about tutoring writing in August. Graduate writing tutors work 3-5 hours per week during fall and spring semesters, and may choose to also work during winter and summer sessions.
